How to Sign an Offer Letter Electronically
A job offer is exciting, and it usually needs to be signed quickly. Here is how to do it properly.
Check before you sign
- Role, title and duties: do they match what you discussed?
- Pay and benefits: confirm gross pay, deductions, allowances and payment date.
- Hours and location: make sure they are written correctly.
- Probation, notice and exit terms: know what applies if things change.
- Intellectual property and side work: check whether your own work or business is covered.
If something is wrong, ask for a corrected letter before you sign. A verbal promise is hard to prove later.
Sign it in four steps
- Open DydalPDF and add your PDF.
- Draw your signature with your finger or mouse, or upload a photo of it.
- Tap the page to place your signature and the date. Drag to move, or use the green dot to resize.
- Download your signed PDF.
Send it back professionally
Name the file clearly, for example Offer Letter - Your Name - Signed.pdf. Reply to the sender with a short, polite message confirming your acceptance and your start date.
Keep a copy
Save the signed file and any emails about changes in one folder. You may need them later.
