How to Run a Paperless Business as an Entrepreneur
Piles of paper and scattered files take more of your attention than they should. A simple paperless routine gives you that time back.
1. Choose one home for documents
Pick one cloud folder for the whole business. Create sub-folders for Clients, Finance, Legal and Templates.
2. Use a clear naming system
For example: 2026-11 - Client Name - Agreement - Signed.pdf. Dates first keep files in order.
3. Sign digitally, every time
Stop printing to sign. Sign the PDF, download it and file it straight away.
- Open DydalPDF and add your PDF.
- Draw your signature with your finger or mouse, or upload a photo of it.
- Tap the page to place your signature and the date. Drag to move, or use the green dot to resize.
- Download your signed PDF.
4. Keep templates ready
Save your standard agreement, proposal and invoice as templates, so each new client takes minutes.
5. Do a monthly tidy-up
Spend 15 minutes each month to file loose documents and delete duplicates.
6. Back up
Keep a second copy of important documents in another place.
A business that is easy to run does not depend on you remembering where everything is.
