How to Get Clients to Sign Your Agreement Faster
Many entrepreneurs lose days waiting for a signature. A few small habits can bring agreements back quickly.
1. Send it while the yes is fresh
Send the agreement within an hour of the client saying yes. Excitement fades quickly.
2. Make signing easy
Send a PDF with clear signature and date lines. Tell the client how to sign on a phone, and share a link such as DydalPDF so they do not need to print.
3. Keep it short and clear
Use plain language, one clear scope and one payment schedule. A long, confusing document slows decisions.
4. Set a polite deadline
Say what happens next: "Once I receive the signed copy, we can start on Monday." A next step gives the client a reason to act.
5. Follow up once, kindly
If you hear nothing in two days, send a short reminder with the document attached again.
6. Sign your own side first
Send the agreement already signed by you. It shows commitment and makes the client's job simple.
